Custom Domains can be enabled for certain users! If you'd like to get access to this feature, reach out to Cloaked Support and we can have out team enable this for you.

Add Custom Email Domain:

To add a custom domain to Cloaked to be used as part of email creation you will need to follow these steps:

1. From your Cloaked Dashboard go to Settings,
2. Click on Email,
   
   
   
3. Then Add new domain you'll then enter the Domain you’d like to add/use with Cloaked (example-domain.com)
   
   
   
4. Click on OK, and on the next screen you’ll be presented with the MX/Server settings you’ll need to update in your domain's DNS record.
   
   
   
   • NOTE: to ensure that these records are correct we recommend copying and pasting these records.
   • NOTE: some DNS providers/solutions may duplicate certain values for example the hostname/or domain name. If this happens you may need to just copy part of the host value given to you by Cloaked.
     
   • Additionally for priority on the MX you can set this as either 5 or 10.
     
     
     
     
5. Once you’ve completed these changes select Verify
   • Please note that these domain and DNS changes may take a few moments to take effect so if the verification initially fails you may wish to try again in a few moments.

Using a Custom Domain:

Ready to use your new Custom Domain? You'll need to do the following steps to use it:

1. Go into Cloaked and generate a new Cloaked Identity
   • Or open an existing Cloaked Identity and delete the existing email.
2. Select Generate a new email address you’ll get a new e-mail with your new domain.
   • Please note: currently, you cannot edit or change the randomly generated starting part of the newly generated email address.
3. You can now use this newly generated email in place of your existing Cloaked Emails or replace a personal email.
