If you use social media for work or personal use it can be extremely difficult to separate the two and prevent your data from being used without your consent.

Worst of all, if one is breached it can likely impact the other leading to lost revenue, sales, and reputation!

With Cloaked, you can create a unique email address, password, and phone number for work accounts and create a unique set for your personal account.

Best of all, if you already have an account you can update it with Cloaked details, removing your personal details from those accounts.

The bots won't know what happened and you can still doom scroll TikTok in peace!

Create a new account using Cloaked

Go through the sign-up process as you would normally, and the Cloaked Extension will prompt you to create a username, password, and email address. Cloaked will save these details for you so you don't need to worry about remembering which password is which.

Note: some websites and services may prevent you from changing multiple account details in one day/session so you may need to update these details over a couple of days. This is a safety feature to prevent bots and malicious parties from locking users out of their accounts.

Why does this matter?

If you don't Cloak your personal info, it provides several vectors of vulnerability:

  • If the website you provide your info mistreats it, you could be hit with spam, scams, or any vulnerabilities associated with the entire internet having access to this info.
  • If this site suffers a breach or is a malicious entity, they can potentially gain vectors to access/attack your information on other sites.
  • If your personal info is breached elsewhere, it can be used to attack this site and your account within it.
  • Your personal information is a way to get to you, your family, and your entire online presence. You don't want it falling in the wrong hands.
