This guide will walk you through completely turning off Verizon Call Filter. It's essential to follow these steps carefully to ensure Verizon Call Filter is fully deactivated, preventing any conflicts when you set up Call Guard and ensuring you're no longer billed by Verizon. Simply uninstalling the app isn't enough and can lead to missed calls.

Important: Deleting the Call Filter app does not turn off spam filtering. Calls will still be labeled as spam or blocked until you turn off the spam filter or unsubscribe from the service.

Instructions for iOS

Method 1: Using the Call Filter App

  1. Open the Call Filter app on your iPhone
  2. Tap on the "Block" tab at the bottom of the screen
  3. Look for "Spam filter on" and tap on it
  4. Toggle OFF the Spam Filter switch
  5. Confirm any prompts to disable the service

  1. Sign in to My Verizon at verizonwireless.com
