The following guide covers the process of removing your data from InfoTracer.

Although Cloaked is able to automatically request the removal of your data from a vast majority of the data brokers we scan for, there are a handful that may require direct manual user submissions. In order to  help make this process easier, we have compiled this instructional guide for you showing how to complete the request process step by step.

If you're reading this article, you've likely received a notification that InfoTracer needs attention to remove your data. Since this is a relatively simple process, let's go through it together.

1. First, navigate to the Opt Out form on InfoTracer's website. You can do so by clicking on the following link:
   https://infotracer.com/optout/
   
   
2. Fill in your first name, last name, state, and city and press submit. This should then bring you to a page where you will verify that you are not a robot.
   
   
3. Once you complete this submission, you will be brought to a page displaying the results InfoTracer found that matches your information.
   
   
4. Select the record that most closely matches your information and click Remove Record.
   
   
5. This will bring you to a form that you need to fill out. You will need to enter an email address and a comment which can be as simple as "Please remove my information from your website."
   
   Since we're Cloaked users, we can also use a Cloaked email address here.
   
   
6. Once you've filled out the information, checked the CAPTCHA, and hit Submit, you will be brought to this page.
   
   
7. Now we can check our email and click into the email that InfoTracer sent us.
   
   
8. We can click the link they provided to verify that our request has gone through. This will bring us to this confirmation page.
   
   

Congratulations! You've now just taken another step towards securing your data privacy.

Troubleshooting

If you are unable to submit your opt out form for whatever reason, please do not hesitate to contact us at cloaked@support.com. We can schedule a call with you to walk through the process together or submit an opt out form for you. Alternatively, you can also contact InfoTracer directly at privacy@infotracer.com to request the removal of your information from their site. You must include at least your complete name and some of the other information on your record in the body of your email.
