The following video guide covers the process of removing your data from VeriPages.

Sadly some data brokers require these manual steps to be undertaken in order to fully remove your data from their records.

From within your Cloaked Data Removal (Data Deletion) Dashboard you will have written instructions along with this you can follow along with our video guide here.

Please find the referenced links in the transcript below.

Thank you for enrolling in our data deletion program, and welcome to Cloaked!

00:00:04

If you’re watching this, you may have seen that Veripages requires manual action to remove your data.

00:00:10

This may come as a surprise; although Cloaked is able to automatically request the removal of your data from the majority of data brokers, some data brokers have systems that do not allow for automated requests.

00:00:24

To make this process easier for you, we have identified Veripages as the umbrella broker for 16 other websites.

00:00:31

In the next two minutes, this video will walk you through submitting a request that will remove your information from 17 total data brokers.

00:00:40

Let’s start on the Veripages website, www.veripages.com

00:00:44

The remainder of these steps will be displayed on a desktop computer, but you can easily follow this same process on your mobile device.

00:00:52

Now that we’re on the Veripages website, we can put in our information to search for your record in the Veripages database.

00:00:59

Once we find our record within the search results, we can click on View Full Profile.

00:01:05

Here, we’ll need to copy the web address as we’ll need this soon.

00:01:09

Now, we can navigate to the opt-out form.

00:01:12

The link to this is provided in this FAQ guide.

https://veripages.com/inner/control/privacy

00:01:16

Let’s paste our record’s website address we copied earlier and fill in our name and email.

00:01:22

Since we’re a Cloaked user, we can use a Cloaked email address for a further layer of protection.

00:01:28

Now, we can submit our opt-out request.

00:01:31

Once Veripages has received our removal request for your record, you may receive an email from Veripages requesting confirmation.

00:01:39

This is a pretty quick process, so let’s walk through that together, too.

00:01:44

First, we can follow the link they’ve provided to their website.

00:01:47

You may need to copy and paste this into your web browser.

00:01:51

This will confirm your request, but let’s track our request by clicking on the blue “Check request status” text.

00:01:58

We’ll need to confirm we are a human via Veripages’ CAPTCHA and click Check Status.

00:02:04

Then, a message will appear on screen describing the status of your request.

00:02:08

In our case, our request is still awaiting approval.

00:02:12

We can come back to this page at any time to check on our status and see if our request has been processed.

00:02:18

Congratulations on another step towards securing your privacy!

00:02:22

If you have other data brokers that require manual removal, you can check out our other opt-out guide here.

00:02:28

Otherwise, our guidebook is a great place to get started on keeping yourself safe with Cloaked.

00:02:33

And of course, you can always reach out to us here at support@cloaked.com.
