You can update the funding source for any Cloaked Virtual Card as long as the new source is the same payment type as the original. This "like-for-like" rule ensures secure and consistent transaction processing.

🔁 What does "same payment type" mean?

You can only switch a card's funding source to another of the same type:

• Credit → Credit
• Debit → Debit
• Bank account (ACH) → Bank account (ACH)

To change to a different type (e.g., from debit to credit), you'll need to delete the card and create a new one, selecting the desired funding source during setup.

📱 How to change the funding source

On the mobile app:

1. Open the Wallet tab.
2. Tap the virtual card you want to update.
3. Tap the current Funding Source.
4. Select another eligible source of the same type, or add a new one from this screen.

On the dashboard (web):

1. Go to Virtual Cards in the left menu.
2. Click the card you'd like to update.
3. Click the current Funding Source.
4. Choose another eligible source of the same type already linked to your account.

Once updated, all future transactions on that card will use the new funding source immediately.
