How do I add a funding source?

To use Cloaked Pay, you’ll need to link at least one funding source — such as a debit card, credit card, or bank account. This is how your Virtual Cards are funded behind the scenes while keeping your real payment details private.

You can manage funding sources from both the Cloaked Dashboard (web) and the mobile app, including:

  • Adding a new funding source
  • Editing or removing an existing source
  • Setting a default funding source for all new cards
  • Assigning a specific funding source to an individual card

📱 On Mobile:

  1. Open the Cloaked App
Tap the Wallet tab in the bottom-right corner.
  2. Go to Wallet Settings
Tap the three-dot menu icon (⋯) in the top-right corner.
  3. Select ‘Funding Sources’
You’ll see a list of your current linked accounts.
  4. Add a New Source
Tap ‘Add Funding Source’ and enter your debit or credit card details into the secure form. Follow the prompts to confirm.

💻 On Web (Dashboard):

  1. Go to Virtual Cards from the Dashboard.
  2. Click into Funding Sources to view, add, or manage your linked accounts.
  3. From any virtual card, you can also click to edit the assigned funding source directly — useful if you want different cards to draw from different accounts.

Once added, your funding source will be securely stored and encrypted. You can start using Cloaked Pay immediately to create private virtual cards and shield your real financial info from merchants.
