How do I remove a funding source?

You can remove a funding source from your Cloaked dashboard or mobile app at any time. However, your account must always have at least one active funding source—this becomes your default for all transactions.

If you're removing your current default funding source and have others linked, another will automatically be set as the new default.

⚙️ How to remove a funding source

On the mobile app:

  1. Go to the Wallet tab (bottom-right corner).
  2. Tap the three-dot menu (⋯) in the top-right.
  3. Select Funding Sources.
  4. Tap the source you want to remove, then tap Remove or Delete and confirm.

On the dashboard: Go to your Wallet settings and follow the same steps to remove a linked source.

⚠️ Before you remove a funding source:

  • You must keep one funding source linked. If you try to delete your only one, you’ll need to add a new source first.
  • Virtual cards may be affected. If any active Cloaked cards are tied to the source you're removing, those cards may be disabled unless reassigned.
  • Refunds still work. Removing a funding source does not impact your ability to receive refunds—the original funding account will still receive any returns.

To avoid disruptions, we recommend keeping at least one valid funding source connected at all times.
