Are there any fees associated with Cloaked Pay?

We believe in a straightforward and transparent approach to fees. Cloaked Pay doesn’t charge any per-transaction or refund fees — it’s included with eligible Cloaked subscription tiers. If you do not have a tier with Cloaked Pay, reach out to support@cloaked.com for more information.

Our policy is simple:

  • No Per-Transaction Fees: Cloaked does not add extra processing fees, surcharges, or a percentage cut on top of the purchases you make with your Virtual Cards. The amount the merchant charges is the amount we pass through to your funding source.
  • No Refund Fees: If a merchant issues a refund to one of your Virtual Cards, we process that refund back to your funding source at no additional cost to you.

Potential Fees from Other Parties

While Cloaked does not add transaction fees, it's possible that other institutions involved in the payment process may have their own. These are not Cloaked fees and are outside of our control.

  • Merchant Fees: Any fees charged directly by the merchant, such as service fees or shipping costs, are part of your total bill from that merchant.
  • Funding Source Fees: Your own bank or credit card issuer may charge fees based on their policies. For example, if you use a cloaked card for an international purchase, your bank may charge a foreign transaction fee. We recommend checking the terms of your funding source to understand its specific fee schedule.
