I've not seen any progress what's happening?
When you've started your Cloaked Data deletion journey it may seem at times that no progress is being made or you've not seen any updates for a while.
This is normal in most cases and Cloaked is working behind the scenes to get these deletion requests submitted to the appropriate data brokers.
Typically the following timescales apply (however they are subject to change and delay):
- On average it can take two weeks to submit requests (during this time the deletion process starts)
- It can take up to 2-3 months for those requests to be fully actioned, and this can take a variety of time depending on each respective data broker.
Sadly, many of these delays and timescales our outside of the control of Cloaked so whilst it may seem like nothing is happening Cloaked is working behind the scenes to ensure that these requests are actioned.
You can track the progress of your data deletion request from the Data Deletion Dashboards in both the Cloaked App and Desktop Dashboard.

What can I do in the meantime?
You can add additional data to your data deletion request via the Cloaked Settings which can help broaden your data deletion request and can help remove any additional details which were not included in your original data deletion request.
