Changing your Cloaked password is easy to do and can be done in a couple of minutes either via the Cloaked Dashboard on the computer or via the Cloaked App.
Prerequisites

One of:
- Android Phone running Android 7.0 or Newer with the Cloaked App
- iPhone running iOS 15.6 or Newer with the Cloaked App
- Computer with access to the Cloaked Dashboard
- Mobile Data/WiFi Connection
- Located in the US (North America)
- A Cloaked Account (trial account or paid account)
Changing your password via the Cloaked Dashboard:
- Login to your Cloaked Account then go to your user icon, and select Settings from the menu. Otherwise, select 'Account & Settings' which is located in the lower left sidebar.
- Once you are in Settings you will need to select 'Change password'.
- You will first need to enter your current password in the topmost field, then enter the new password you wish to use in the next two fields. Then push 'Save'.
Once you have done so your Cloaked password has been changed.
- Once you have changed your Cloaked password we recommend you update your password manager with the new password and if you haven't already ensure you've got a copy of your recovery passphrase saved and stored away.

Changing your password via the Cloaked App:
- Open your Cloaked App and go to the 'Settings' tab.
- Once under 'Account Security' tape on 'Change Password'. You will first need to enter your current password in the topmost field, then enter the new password you wish to use in the next two fields. Then push 'Save'. Once you have done so your Cloaked password has been changed.
- Once you have changed your Cloaked password we recommend you update your password manager with the new password and if you haven't already ensure you've got a copy of your recovery passphrase saved and stored away.

Note: The steps above will also apply to users using the Cloaked app on Android devices as well.
