If you decide you no longer want to use Call Guard, follow these steps carefully to ensure call forwarding is properly deactivated with your carrier:
- Go to Call Guard settings (via the Calls tab action sheet or Profile menu).
- Use the toggle switch to turn Call Guard OFF.
- Confirm your choice when prompted by the app.
- Follow the steps to disable Call Forwarding with your carrier:
- Note the deactivation code provided for your carrier (e.g., *73 or ##004#). Confirm your carrier is correct or select a different one if needed.
- Tap "Call Now". This will open the call prompt.
- Hang up when the call ends or when instructed by your carrier's automated message. Return to the Cloaked app.

- Wait a moment while the Cloaked app performs a brief test call to confirm that forwarding has been successfully disabled (i.e., the test call should not reach Cloaked).
- iOS Only:
- You can to go to your iPhone Settings to re-enable "Silence Unknown Callers" and/or "Live Voicemail" to return the Phone app and behavior to default settings.

- Once the test confirms forwarding is off, the app will show a confirmation screen indicating Call Guard is disabled.
Troubleshooting Disable Flow:
If the test call indicates forwarding is still active after you've dialed the disable code, the app should guide you to a troubleshooting screen or provide options to try again or contact support.
